Money Tracker is a privacy-first personal finance application. This application does not collect, transmit, or share any of your personal financial data, transaction history, or custom categories with the developer or any data-mining servers.
All financial data entered into the app is stored locally and securely within the internal database on your device.
The app requires an internet connection solely to fetch live currency exchange rates. To provide accurate conversions, the app makes anonymous network requests to a third-party currency API. While your device's IP address is inherently visible to this third-party service during the request, no personal information, wallet balances, or transaction data is ever sent.
If you choose to use the app's internal Backup/Restore feature, your data is exported directly to a local file on your device's storage. It is your responsibility to secure this backup file.
